Lilly For Target

Let's talk about Lilly for Target...

As most of you all already know Lilly Pulitzer is collaborating with Target! I've heard so many different opinions and views on this collaboration. My feeling is that it is a great idea!! I am honestly so excited!

People think that there is a sort of "club" that goes with wearing Lilly. That if you want to be in this "club" you have to drop $200 (or if you're like me wait till they go on sale ;)) for a dress that you might only wear 5 times. Yes, Lilly going to Target may cheapen the brand but I think overall it will be a great success. I have seen so many tweets about how these people in the Lilly "club" are mad that now "normal people" or "white trash" will be able to buy a Lilly dress for $30 at Target. How can someone be so stuck up to say that!?! And even Lilly Pulitzer herself said "Style isn't just about what you wear, it's about how you live." Not everyone can afford a $200 dress, heck, not even I can! I have to save for months to afford a Lilly dress! And most of the time if I see a dress or something at Lilly I want, I just go to the store and try it on and take a bunch of pictures in it. I don't have most of the Lilly that's in my instagram pictures, I wish I did, but I'm just a normal teenager who doesn't just have that kind of money in my wallet. Everyone deserves to be well dressed! And I think it's a great idea for parents who want to dress their kids in Lilly but don't want to buy expensive Lilly dresses that their kid will most likely grow out of in a couple months. But I'M LITERALLY (no not figuratively) SO EXCITED for this collaboration!! It is set to hit stores April 19 and I'm pretty sure my mom and I will be waiting at the doors for them to open. (if you live in the Richmond area and you want to shop together or meet up at Target leeme know, lol) I'm so glad they are making this collaboration affordable! I also love that there will be home decor too, maybe I can get some stuff for my dorm for when I go off to college. Overall I'm glad Lilly and Target are doing this. Leave your opinions below because I'd love to hear what they are!

First Impressions the second time around

First Impressions is making a comeback!

Are y'all as excited as I am about the NEW first impressions pattern from Lilly Pulitzer!?!? I'm SOOO excited! I wasn't a huge Lilly fan (sadly) when the original first impressions pattern came out and I'm lovin' the blue and yellow this time around! I also saw they had the original print in a scarf, how exiting is that!?! If only they would bring back You Gotta Regatta!! So I'm just gonna share with y'all below some of the pictures I took at Pink Palm of the new first impressions!

LOVE my new shorts!!

I love all of them

I love this dress, and how cool is it that they can find your TTS fitting?!!? They recommend going up a size in this dress!
I think I NEED this scarf
